The 9mm Seagate

We aren't allowed to bring our guns into the data center or things like this would happen a lot more often.

I took a 5 1/4, full height disk drive out to a range and basically shot the hell out of it. This drive was pretty tough but the 124 gr Remington Golden Sabers did quite a number on it.

This is the overall view of the board side of the drive after the shooting rampage. Notice the large dent in the left side mouting rail.

The inner housing stoped one of the slugs pretty effectively...
